He used to weep a long time for the welfare of his Ummah. He was really a well-wisher of Muslim Ummah.
Importance of Hajj and Umrah:
No one can deny the importance of Hajj and Umrah. These are considered as the universal worships. Performer of these two worships is called Pilgrim in Islam. Hajj Umrah travel agency offers different kinds of packages for Hajj and Umrah. Hajj is compulsory to perform because it is one of the basic pillars of Islam. But here is relaxation for some people who cannot afford the expenses of Hajj. All the Muslims in this world are not equal. Some are poor and some are rich.
Hajj is the duty of those who can afford it easily and can afford their family expenses when they are on Hajj. On the other hand Umrah is not compulsory, it is the Sunnah of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and Muslims call it Sunnah-e-Muaqqda. It means it should be performed. When a person hears the importance of both of these worships, he wishes to perform both of these.
Difference between Hajj and Umrah:
Hajj is considered as the major pilgrimage in Islam and is given the great importance because it is one of the five pillars of Islam. On the other hand Umrah is considered as the minor pilgrimage and has the less importance as compared to Hajj but its reward is not less than the Hajj. Hazrat Muhammad performed both of these in his life therefore both have almost equal reward. Holy Pophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) performed one Hajj and two Umrahs in his life and recommended both to his Ummah.
Umrah is shorter than the Hajj and can be performed in a single day. Whereas Hajj is minimum of five days. It is performed in specific days of a specific month of Islamic calendar. Umrah can be performed at any time of the year. But Hajj is only performed only once in a life. The rites of Umrah are less than the rites of Hajj. Hajj has all the rites of Umrah and also some extra rites like sacrificing the animals, throwing stones at three pillars.
